Our Model

The IAC Model

Our interaction with students made us realize that inspiration, awareness, and collaboration are as important as books, curriculum, and teachers in imparting an education. While schools teach basic curriculum, we go above and beyond schools and provide a kaleidoscopic view of STEM. We call our approach the IAC model.

Inspiration:

We identify, register, and train students for STEM competitions such as PUMAC (Princeton University Math Competition), MMATHS (Yale/Columbia Math Competition), HMMT (Harvard MIT Math Tournament), CML (Continental Math League), and more. We also host our own local Math and Science Tournaments to match all students’ skill level.

STEM competitions extend learning far beyond what school curriculum offers. They allow students to meet like-minded peers from other schools and visit universities to motivate their pursuit of STEM.

Awareness:

It takes a village to raise the child. So we educate not only the students’ but also their ecosystem – the parents, guardians and teachers about promising activities, summer camps, and other  resources via seminars.

Our seminars are about one hour long and we provide them at the premises of requesting organizations. Here we urge and challenge the adults to give all support needed to accelerate and enrich students and make them perform better in school and beyond.

Collaboration:

We are always looking to advance our mission, foster new connections, and build and grow partnerships. The reality for many organizations - such as non-profits, libraries, schools and other governmental agencies - is that they simply do not have the time or the resources to provide all the services that benefit the student community. We provide technical and STEM resources to the organizations who want to help their patrons and customers.

Our Methods

Workshops & Seminars

Competitions

We register students for individual and group STEM competitions. We follow the registration with adequate training and participation in the events. Our training sessions are usually held online or at premises of non-profits, libraries, schools and other governmental agencies. We also host our own Math and Science Tournaments when we are unable to matchup the existing competitions to our students’ skill level.

We have had students involved in the following competitions:

  • MCMT (Mercer County Math Tournament)
  • Continental Math League
  • National Science League
  • AMC 8/10/12
  • PUMAC (Princeton University Math Competition)
  • HMMT (Harvard - MIT Math Tournament)
  • MMATHS (Yale/Columbia Math Tournament)
